🛠 Roles & Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood & other materials as per specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches for project requirements.

• Install doors, windows, cabinets, partitions, and furniture.

• Repair and maintain wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures.

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, planing, and smoothing for finishing.

• Apply varnish, polish, laminate, or paint to completed work.

• Operate and maintain hand tools & power tools safely.

• Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment during installation.

• Inspect completed work to meet quality standards.

• Collaborate with designers, contractors, and supervisors.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

• Estimate material requirements and assist in cost control.

👷 Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years proven experience as a carpenter (construction, furniture, or interior fit-out).

• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials (hardwood, softwood, MDF, plywood), and tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints & technical specifications.

• Skilled in safe use of hand tools and power tools.

• Precision in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.

• Experience in installation of doors, windows, cabinets, and fixtures.

• Knowledge of finishing techniques: sanding, polishing, staining, varnishing.

• Basic repair & maintenance skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

• Physical stamina for manual labor.

• Good problem-solving and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Strong awareness of workplace safety standards.

• Basic communication skills for instructions and client requirements.
